REV PEGGY A WEIR, founder of Prepared Women Ministries, is an ordained Baptist minister. She earned her B.A. in Religion from Salem College and her M.Div. from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. She has shared her talents and been instrumental in developing many activites in the church including a Christian Education Ministry, and working on the Women's, and Social Justice Ministries. Rev Weir is the recipient of a 2018 BB&T Emerging Leaders Certificate as well as a current participant in the Baptist Commons Clergy in Community cohort. Her passion is to educate and help others while proclaiming God's love for all, challenging injustice, and building community.
Prepared Women Ministries is a faith based women's empowerment and support organization that works with churches, and other religious and non-religious groups. Our services include a women's group, Queens Among Many (QAM), that focuses on but is not limited to the needs of women of color. We also facilitate an energetic women's only bible study group, Spiritually Empowered and Enlightened (SEE), and provide support and consultation services for those serving in ministry leadership positions through our Anointed Proclaimers ministry; while our Renewed ministry is designed specifically for small rural churches.
Prepared Women Ministries strives to transform, empower, encourage, support, and spiritually prepare people to meet the challenges of the world today. We facilitate honest, truthful, and vital interaction among women and encourage them to use their unique and dynamic God-given gifts and talents, as well as their experiences and skills to fulfill God's plans and purpose for their lives and help them accomplish their goals and aspiriations.
